Boston Children's Hospital Hale Family Clinical Building

The design team was tasked with creating an immersive experiential graphic design program for the 11-story, 575,000-square-foot Hale Family Clinical Building at Boston Children's Hospital. The project centers around a 3-D pop-up book theme and features interactive, multi-layer automatons under 8-foot arches that set the stage for fun and play. Intended to distract, surprise and entertain patients without the use of technology or screens, each display uses motion sensors and electric motors to move.
